Role

The Associate Director/Director of Marketing reports directly to the Executive Director of Marketing and holds a critical commercial role. This role will be responsible for supporting the product/brand strategy, coordinate cross functional planning and build plans to execute and maximize HCP benefit and commercial value.

Key Responsibilities

Champion company strategy and assist in driving key strategic imperatives for the company.


Support strategy development and brand planning for product/brand.


Support HCP insight generation; plan and lead advisory boards and other customer meetings and align key insights across market research initiatives


Support the development of key performance metrics for brand, scenario planning and strategic choice initiatives


Collaborate with cross-functional partners to gain alignment on strategic marketing initiatives; ensure consistency across execution of brand strategy and corporate objectives.


Lead evolution of brand positioning and overall message platform, including pull-through to field materials, training, and other key projects/activities.


Manage HCP speaker bureau and lead creation/optimization of key assets (eg, speaker deck). Serve as strategic lead for workstream and ensure vendor and internal partners are aligned.


Ensure budgets and resources are effectively managed within agreed upon limits and plans are effectively implemented


Develop and expand relationships with HCPs and other key customers.

Professional Experience/Qualifications

We are looking for an individual that is highly motivated, solutions oriented and solid team player with the relevant experiences in the functions above. A track record of success launching brands is highly desirable. We value someone who has exceptional communication skills and can adapt to challenging and/or changing market conditions across diverse businesses. An ability to partner and collaborate successfully with other company leaders and customers is also required.

Strong experience in immunology and multiple sclerosis preferred, including a successful track record of success launching multiple sclerosis brands in competitive markets.

Strong collaboration and leadership skills to influence internal and other decision-makers.

Strong communications skills. Capable of engaging senior management and other audiences.

Ability to build, manage, and lead multiple cross-functional partnerships and initiatives simultaneously

Demonstrated understanding of all associated relevant legal, compliance and regulatory policies

This position requires moderate travel (25% – 30%)

Education

Bachelor’s degree; MBA or advanced degree is preferable.
